How CMS rich text maps onto the storefront (layout preview)
Sample HTML as if it came from a headless CMS: headings, lists, quotes, figures, images, and tables share one typography shell.
This article uses bodyHtml only. Your back office can output whatever the editor allows; the storefront applies one consistent type scale.
What editors usually add
Most teams want H2/H3 hierarchy, bullet lists, occasional tables, and media with captions. Nothing is hard-coded to fixed zones.
Checklist-friendly lists
- Lane cut-offs published per weekday
- Pack list exports before dispatch
- Claims evidence saved with timestamps
When the HTML is messy, sanitize on the server and keep the visual system boring. That is good for retail.
Tables and handoffs
| Step | Owner | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Intake | Warehouse | Grade + photos |
| QC spot check | Support team | Hold / release |
